50 - You Failed to Make a Movie

In celebration of their 50th episode, The Divemistress is not at all on top of her game and does a really bad job synopsizing every film they talk about this week. But before we get to that, Count Vardulon and the The DM share their thoughts about the Christmas season and The DM weighs in on the Ms. Horror Blogosphere controversy. The two briefly talk about passed-over Edward Furlong vehicle, Brainscan, and then get to the main event, praising Wrong Turn and complaining about Wrong Turn 2 and 3.

49 - The Superhero Porn Pact

This week on TheAvod, your friends Count Vardulon and The Divemistress actually agree on something: The Echo is a good little film. They also agree that V has become incredibly dull, and The DM decides she's giving up on the show. They're less agreeable about the movie Ink, because The DM really liked it, and The Count only kind of did. Picking up from last week, The Count continues his criticism of AMC's The Prisoner, and then has a hard time signing off because he can't stop talking about how much he doesn't like it.

48 - Your Google Search for Twilight and New Moon Has Led You Here

This week your friends Count Vardulon and The Divemistress vow not to see New Moon in theatres and pick up their argument about V. They review what they assume is the first series of FearNet's Fear Clinic web series and take a few moments to remember Edward Woodward. The Count reviews the third book in the Christopher Pike Book Club, Chain Letter, and briefly insults AMC's new take on The Prisoner. The DM then takes a moment to promote The Vault of Horror's Ms Horror Blogosphere contest, and wants you to know that she's contestant #4.

47 - Blood and Sex Nightmare 2: The Re-Blood and Sex Nightmarening

This week Count Vardulon and The Divemistress celebrate the one year anniversary of their viewing of Blood and Sex Nightmare by discussing how much they still really hate the film. The DM then gives The Count a beat-down about his over-thinking the events on V. Though this isn't a themed Avod, the rest of this week's episode is dedicated to everyone's favourite animated Batman and Superman movies. Tune for an update on the DM's online dating experiment.

46 - Exhaustion!

This week Count Vardulon and the Divemistress finally get to talk about their favourite thing: Ron Perlman. Tune in to hear how The Count thinks too much about insignificant details, and listen to the DM complain about the lack of hot men on V.
